New PathWAI Solutions for WebSphere Business Integration

Candle Corporation has announced two new PathWAI solutions that provide the first management support for all IBM WebSphere integration brokers, including the new WebSphere Business Integration Message Broker V5.0. PathWAI XE for WebSphere Integration Brokers V120 is a performance tuning and analytical tool that provides a high level of broker and message flow performance. PathWAI Dashboard for WebSphere Business Integration offers a single integrated view of an entire IBM message broker and WebSphere MQ environment.

The new Candle offerings provide greater visibility into performance across an entire application or broker environment, enabling users to attain higher levels of process efficiencies and availability. WebSphere brokers function as communication hubs to transform and route data. Brokers, for example, provide a consistent interface for applications that access data from multiple systems and have different connectivity and interface requirements. The WebSphere brokers identify new and updated events, translate the data into the appropriate format for each system and ensure that the messages are distributed immediately.

PathWAI XE for WebSphere Integration Brokers features enable users to:

  • Gain granular visibility into broker performance, which enables them to quickly identify and eliminate performance slowdowns using unique flow and subflow monitoring.

  • Leverage IBM's latest broker advances immediately via support for WebSphere Business Integration Message Broker V5.0.

  • Access 24 expanded workspaces to quickly view broker information, such as CPU resource consumption, and tune message flows accordingly.

    PathWAI Dashboard for WebSphere Business Integration enables users to manage an entire IBM broker and middleware infrastructure, as well as operating systems and databases, from a single console.The package allows users to relate WebSphere broker and WebSphere MQ performance and availability to line-of-business performance. PathWAI Dashboard for WebSphere Business Integration enables organizations to quickly drill down from a business view to diagnose and eliminate potential performance issues.

    PathWAI Dashboard for WebSphere Business Integration views can track performance by geography and other business parameters. It features labor-saving automation capabilities that help organizations adjust systems settings dynamically.

    PathWAI XE for WebSphere Integration Brokers and PathWAI Dashboard for WebSphere Business Integration are available immediately on Microsoft Windows, AIX, OS/390, z/OS, HP-UX, Linux on Intel platforms, and Sun Solaris. Pricing for PathWAI XE for WebSphere Integration Brokers begins at $4,000 per processor. The Dashboard Edition is available starting at $35,200, which includes installation and training services.
